The International agroindustrial exhibition-fair "AGRO-2009" finished the work.

XXI International agroindustrial exhibition-fair “Agro-2009” finished the work on June 14 in the National Complex “Expocenter of Ukraine”. Exhibition-fair “Agro-2009” was the real fest not only for the farmers and agrarians but also for all Ukrainian people. On the territory of the National Complex “Expocenter of Ukraine” were all that your soul is wanted: from kitchen implements and stuffs to techniques, from tasty Ukrainian dishes to mechanical giants-combines and tractors.
The President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko visited solemn opening of the exhibition-fair “Agro-2009”. The President welcomed the agrarians with their achievements. Also he mentioned the main problems in agricultural branch.
The President emphasized the necessity of adoption some changes and working on the market relations formation, open land market etc. Also he mentioned that the agriculture of Ukraine have demonstrated wealth growing for the last few mounts, thanks to facilitation of conjuncture of foreign and domestic markets.
The President confirmed that agroindustrial branch became the leader of foreign capital formation, taking the lead over engineering industry and so on.
About 2000 domestic and 200 foreign companies from Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Germany, Denmark, Holland, Czechia, France, Poland and China presented their production on the International agroindustrial exhibition “Agro-2009”
