ІІ. Questioning of exhibitors.
 
Exhibitors:
Nearly 110 exhibitors from 9 countries took part in the exhibition: Austria, China, Korea, Poland, Russia, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine .

Ukrainian enterprises – 102, 42 of them – domestic producers
This year PackUkraine celebrates its fifteenth jubilee, that gives it the right to be the central branch exhibition of packing industry of Ukraine and to gather the best manufactures of packaging and label, equipment, technologies and materials. Among permanent foreign exhibitors – GENERAL PLASTIC (Austria) – machinery and equipment for processing of plastic and production of packaging, TRANSPAK Euro-Asia Packaging Machinery (China) – equipment for production of corrugated cardboard and boxes, “PACK” industry (France) – manufacture of paper tubes, edge protectors, composite cans and fibre drums, and other companies.
In exhibition take part permanent exhibitors – well-known printeries, which deal with the supply of modern equipment and materials to the Ukrainian market, the company ”NISSA Ukraine”(a wide spectrum of printing equipment for all segments of printing market of Ukraine), LTD ”AVIS” which for 10 years the enterprise type of container (can and cover) with a colored printing of different size. Among them, there are companies : Akron, Alur, LTD Aronis Coding System, Biksplen.
Exposition of the 7th International specialized exhibition “LABEL-2007” - harmoniously combines with the exposition “PackUkraine”, with its best samples of label production, technologies and equipment for its production. Nowadays the label is the integral part of modern packaging design. The best stitches of label production, equipment and materials was presenting on stands of such companies:“Allur”,” “Aronis coding system”LTD, CJSC“Forto group”,”Impress”LTD and many others.
Among permanent and active exhibitors, that gives the special interest and importance for the event, are  - packers and printeries , suppliers of consumables   and materials, technologies, and also domestic research institutions : LTD “Akron” (production and restoring of rollers for printing industry), ”Bronko” company (sale of equipment for the producing of cardboard packing) , ”Zhytomyr-Polysaks”LTD (producing and sale of polypropylene material, bags, soft containers of polypropylene card, polypropylene cases), ”Orion-Export Trade House” (a wide assortment range of paper), “Graphitim” LTD (sale and service of printing equipment), OJSC “Ukrainian Research Institute for Special Printing Processes” (OJSC “URISPP”), CJSC «Research Institute of LASER TECHNOLOGY” and others.
 
The international specialized exhibition “Inprodmash – 2007”(“Infoodtech-2007”) was held to cut the distance between the producer and the consumer of the packing-label industrial sector and to gather them under the one roof without mediators this year for the work improvement of both events in the frames of branch forums .
 
Among exhibitors of the exposition are well-known Ukrainian companies – “RESEARCH FACTORY OF FOOD EQUIPMENT” ,”Ark”- Scientific-producton Centre, “MAYAK-CUP Trade”, MTS-EXPO, POLYMERE-SYNTHESIS, Reductor STC, “LIGHT” OJSC, ”Techniplast Ukraine”, TECHNOVAGY(TECHNOWEIGHTHINMASHINE), UKRPACK.
The highest percentage among the visitors – 26% producers of packaging equipment and label, printing equipment and complements.
 
23% questioned exhibitors - directly producing packages and containers.
15 % , producers of consumables; including label -14%
 14% of publishing, press, advertising agency were presented on exhibitions.
Companies which represented marked equipment (5%) should be the separate topic.
Producers of equipment for food industry were the rest exhibitors - 3%.
 

experienced companies, which have been working in packing market for 15 years (41%) for 10 (37%). Experienced organizations, with a long time (over 20 years) period working in the market (2%), and also some new companies –20% were presented.

 
 
Purpose of participation:
The exhibitors wanted to consolidate on packaging market, to show their production and services to potential consumers, to realize its advertising campaign for the firm, to apprise the market condition and to find new business partners. Such conclusions with purpose of participation in exhibition are confirmed by the results of questioned exhibitors.
The majority of exhibitors achieved their purpose - 89% of quetioned: “completely” - (16%) and “partly” - (73%), that show the actuality, popularity and prestige of certain exhibitions.
To the question “According to the answers of questioned exhibitors
Anylising the answers of exhibitors to the question of questioner: “What time do you participate in exhibition?”- it is noticeable, that majority of the companies (65%) – are the permanent visitors of packing exhibition , they advertising their production on the area of “Expocenter of Ukraine”, taking part in exhibition “more than few times”.

However in 2007 the exhibitions enriched with the new exhibitors, 28% of exponents were “at first” in packaging forum.

 

ІІІ. Registration and questioning of the visitors.
Geography of the visitors:
Registration and questioning of the visitors were during all period of exhibition. (5 days).
Number of the registered visitors – 698.
Representatives from all regions of Ukraine , AR of Crimea, Kyiv, and our foreign guests, according to the registration forms, examined  the exhibition “PackUkraine\Label\Inprodmash 2007”(”Infoodmash 2007”).
 
Visitors from Kyiv and Kyiv region – 65%.  Visitors from other regions of Ukraine – 32%. Representatives of foreign countries – 3%, from 13 countries of the world : Belgium, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Estonia, India, Spain, Italy, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Turkey.
 
The  highest interest of exposition achieved specialists from Belarus, Moldova and Poland (accordingly 18%, 14% and 13% of foreign visitors). Significant sector in Russia, Turkey and Estonia – 9 %. The same percentage have: Belgium, Armenia, Georgia, India, Spain, Italy, Serbia (4%).

The most active visitors were from Dnipropetrovsk (11,3), Vinnitsa(10,8%), Lviv (9,9%), and Kharkiv (9%) regions of Ukraine.

  The exhibition “PackUkraine\Label\Inprodmash” visited 94% experts from different branches.

The highest percentage of visitors are representatives of printing industry, producers and implementators of consumables and packaging equipment.
The specialists of key food industry, that have a good development in Ukraine, relied on to conclude an agreement and to find the new packaging for their production.
The weighty segment had the representatives of advertising and marketing.
The specialists of chemical, machine-building, light and medical branches had been very interested of exhibition.Among the visitors were also representatives of banking, embassies, exhibition sphere, publishing houses, mass media, science and education.
Among the officials dominated representatives of leadership and second positions. Among them were: executives of subdivisions -26%, owners and partners of the companies and firms, businessmen – 25%, deputy directors general, chief engineers – 11%, chief executives , firm managers, chairmen -10%.
 
Others of the visitors: managers – 17%; specialists, student body – 6%; skilled workers – 4 %; finance\ accouting – 1%.
 
Purpose of exhibition visiting:
The main purpose of visiting the exhibitions,  according to the questioning of the visitors, were mentioned – viewing of novelties and finding the new partners (almost 25%).
23% of the visitors acquainted with expositions.
To learn the market was very important for 19% of the visitors.
5% questioned were interested on making an agreement\ordering.

3% of visitors wanted to become acquainted with exhibitions “PackUkraine\Label\Inprodmash – 2007” with the purpose of further participation.

 

On professional level of organization indicates the achievement of the visit: after viewing the exposition - 36% questioned approved their purpose “completely”, and 60% - “partly”.
Visitor’s interest:
The highest interest among the visitors contented technologies and equipment for packaging production, and also packing itself (accordingly 21% ad 20% of visitors).
15% questioned - interested about consumables
Technologies and equipment  for the production of different types of labels and labels for the food and industrial goods were also important for the viewers (14% questioned visitors).
Marked equipment and services were interested on about 9% of the visitors, and equipment for the food industry – 7 %.
 
ІV.Scientifically-practical events.
For the experts in the frames of exhibitions by the company “NISSA Ukraine” organized:
  • seminar  “Digital future of the label.”
  • Press-conference of the company.
 Traditionally Competitions sympathies among the visitors: “The best packing – 2007” and “The best label – 2007” took its place in the frames of exhibitions.
The idea of the competition found an active support among the companies and organizations, specialized on production of different packaging and label.
The competitions were supported by the magazines: “Cardboard and corrugated cardboard”, «DIGITAL PRINT», «BUSSINES PRINT», “Mir Upakovki” (“World of packaging”),”Upakovka”(“Packaging”),”Brutto”.
According to the data of questioning and also in scientifically-practical program of the exhibition took part 54% of exhibitors.
V. Level of organization the exhibition.
253 results of negotiations and concluded over 40 agreements was presented during realization of exhibition by exhibitors that confirms about high level of organization and prestige.
The level of organization is estimated as 3,7.
The fourth part of questioned exhibitors (26%) had already planned their participation in exhibitions of the next year.
VI. Sources of getting information about the exhibition.
Analysing the information about exhibition, its possible to make the conclusion , that visitors mainly found out about it from invitations of the Expocenter (28%), out-of-home media (12% of questioning) and invitations from business partners (11%).
The permanent visitors, which year for year for conducting for the exhibitions and visit them – 15%
High percentage in the network system – 10%
Were mentioned also such information sources: exhibition plans of Expocenter - 6%
Press, TV and radio – insignificant part.
