The National Complex “Expocenter of Ukraine” was founded due to the Decree of the Board of Ministries URSR as “The leading experienced exhibition center of the National economy of Ukrainian URSR”. The exhibition center was founded in 1958, July 6. National Complex “Expocenter of Ukraine” is the member of the Global Association Exhibition Industry (UFI), the Exhibition Federation of Ukraine (EFU), and also of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (Russia).
For many years “The Expocenter of Ukraine” became recognized in the world exhibition community thanks to its exhibitions, events and fairs in the industrial and agricultural sphere, achievements in since and culture.
Interesting expositions reflected the economical development of the country, demonstrated innovation in the industrial and national economy. Achievements and experience of the best became achievements of hundred and thousand collectives.
In our days the National Complex “Expocenter of Ukraine” is still the exclusive state specialized exhibition center with unique architectural ensemble, beautiful garden, forest and park zones. The main role for “Expocenter” is to organize exhibition, trade-fair and informational-propagandist activities, realization of presentational, cultural, art, sport and entertaining events.
Every year on the exhibition areas approximately 100 international, national and foreign exhibition events are conducted. “Expocenter of Ukraine” became the organizer of the most prestigious events of nationwide level, under the patronage of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministries of Ukraine, branch ministries and the other members of executive power.
National Complex “Expocenter of Ukraine” organized expositions of the National exhibitions of Ukraine in Montreal, Marseilles, Plovdiv, Zagreb, Nitra, Bratislava, Leipzig and other cities of Europe and other cities in the world.
From the year 2000 “Expocenter of Ukraine” is the organizer of the collective expositions of the Ukrainian companies in the international exhibition, trade-fairs and events abroad. The “Expocenter of Ukraine” was the main manager of the National exhibition of Ukraine during the fest “THE YEAR OF UKRAINE” in the Russia Federation (Moscow, 2002), National expositions of Ukraine in the Universe exhibition “EXPO-2005” (Japan) and Hanover exhibition-fair “Hannover Messe” (Germany), Intergovernmental exhibitions on the occasion of 10th and 15th of CIS (Moscow 2001, 2006).
In 2007 the National Complex “Expocenter of Ukraine” successfully organized expositions of Ukrainian companies and international exhibition events in Belarus (Minsk) and also in Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia Federation (Sankt-Petersburg).
The main tendency in activity of “Expocenter of Ukraine” is realization of events, directed to the development of the internal connection between the regions of Ukraine. Among them are the nationwide exhibition-share “Barvysta Ukraina” and the All-Ukrainian competition “The best domestic product of the year”. These events take the leading place and realized due to the Decree of the President of Ukraine.
The most effective tendency in the modern exhibition sphere became the organization the large-scale trade-economical exhibition-forums within the framework of exhibition.
The high rating of the professional level of the National Complex “Expocenter of Ukraine” activity is appropriation the membership of the Global Association of Exhibition Industry (UFI), Russian Union of Exhibitions and fairs (Russia), Exhibition federation of Ukraine.
Celebration of the 50th jubilee of the “Expocenter of Ukraine” will be held during the realization of the nationwide exhibition share “Barvysta Ukraina” on 20-21 August.
