33 Ukrainian participants took part in the exhibition, including: enterprises, organizations, companies and representative offices from 3 foreign countries: Italy, Poland and Russia.
Among the participants - a powerful Donetskenterprise “BIOTECHNOLOGY”, which specializes in mushroom planting material at high technologies, Cherkassy firm "WEND", which manufactures coating mixture for growing mushrooms; Kiev company “Mushroom Engineering” offering climate settings for maintaining of the necessary microclimate in cells of mushrooms growing; “TRV-HOLOD Ltd.” supplies and installs refrigeration equipment, the Central Control Production Laboratory of Ukoopspilky – the development of regulations on cultivation and processing of wild and cultivated mushrooms, CJSC "UKRSHAMPINYON" - the largest company in Ukraine under the trademark "Veres", with a full cycle of mushrooms growing, compost production and roofing compounds, CJSC "Tera" - a developer and manufacturer of artificial climate for mushroom farms.
Foreign exhibitors were presented by: the Mission of Polish companies - WOKAS-KOPALNIETORFU, which offers high-quality soil for intensive cultivation of mushrooms and «CHAMPION», which produces and delivers systems for growing mushrooms “turnkey”; a representative of the Italian firm VIERREBI - the world leader that specializes in manufacturing of machinery and equipment for the mushroom industry.
Visitors:
The exhibition was attended by about 4500 reviewers.
Overall more than 75 percent of all registered users - professionals who are related to the mushroom industry according to the nature of its activities.
The largest percentage of visitors (45%) was the heads of companies and divisions, 37% of visitors - representatives of business organizations, 18% - individuals.
Among the visitors - experts of the mushroom industry and agriculture (33% and 20%).
Also experts of instrument industry, food industry, trade, information and scientific field visited “MushroomExpo-2009”.

In the frames of the exhibition The congress of mushroom producers of Ukraine - an important event in the mushroom industry, which became the meeting and discussion place of the mushroom industry problems and made it possible to get the latest information for all participants of mushroom business - from the developer to the representative of the trade network.
78% of exhibitors participated in the congress of mushroom producers of Ukraine.
The presentations of competitive products, modern technologies of domestic and foreign industry mushroom, mushroom tasting product and sizing up of the competition of the Association "Union of mushroom producers of Ukraine" - "World of mushrooms", in which representatives from mushroom farms from 5 regions of Ukraine (the western, central, eastern, north and south) took part.
