We invite you to take part in the festive exhibition-fair “Maslyana – 2009”, which will take it’s place in the pavilions and on open grounds of the National Complex “Expocenter of Ukraine” from February 27 till March 1 2009.
Wide fair of goods and services, where everybody can buy: wonderful wares made by native craftsmen, souvenirs, clothes, shoes, goods for children, products of nourishment and drinks, household goods. Also you can find here everything for gardening and for vegetable garden.
Visit “Maslyana” and look at the theatrical performances “Kolodiy”, “Treating for the wife’s mother”, Oh, godfather and godmother”, “Farewell with Maslyana”.”
Children and adults can visit the “House of Pan Savka”. Also there will be skating and master-classes.
Returning to the old, good tradition! You’ll see the ritual burning of the straw “Maslyana” on March 1.
Meeting with Kolodiy – the Old Slavonic God of marriage and family hearth, who guards young family couples, will be waiting for you. Everyone will have the opportunity to take for a drive their mothers-in-law on britzka and sledges and to regale them with varenyki and pancakes in the inn. Every family will spend their time joyfully!
